After the soft sister differentiated into A Ch.75

The beauty that was surrounded by the crowd was not only pretty but also had an impressive figure, with long legs and a slim waist that perfectly accentuated her proportions. Just her pair of fair, slender legs was enough to catch the eye. Her delicate waist swayed sensuously to the music, and it seemed as if every strand of her hair was dancing along with her.

Jin Siming couldn’t help but steal a few more glances, but even as she was amazed by the dancer, her mind was focused on remembering how Yao Jin looked when she danced.

She had watched Yao Jin dance practice before, and when she recalled Yao Jin’s graceful movements when dancing to the music, the woman in front of her seemed less impressive in comparison.

After watching for a while, Jin Siming grew bored and tugged on Gu Le’s arm to leave. However, Gu Le had no intention of leaving, and was standing rooted to the spot. Her eyes were eyes glued to the dancer in front of her. “Why the rush? Let’s stay a bit longer. We have no other plans this afternoon anyway.”

Gu Le was captivated by the beauty, so Jin Siming had no choice but to stay with her a bit longer. To pass the time, she started playing on her phone.

While updating a game she hadn’t played in a while, she noticed the people around her starting to move back. Jin Siming looked up in confusion only to find the dancer had moved right in front of her. Instinctively, she took a step back, but the dancer followed with a step forward and closed the distance again.

As the crowd continued to move back, soon enough there were only the two of them in the center.

The music continued to play as the beauty danced closer to her. Out of politeness, Jin Siming didn’t retreat any further. Instead, she forced a shy yet stiff smile, awkwardly swaying her uncoordinated body to match the dancer’s rhythm so that she wasn’t just standing there like a statue.

“Freshman, would you like to join our dance club? I can teach you personally if you do.”

The beauty winked at her as she spoke and Jin Siming only smiled as she politely declined, “Thank you for the offer, senior, but I have no talent for dancing so it’s best if I don’t join.”

The beauty replied, “No problem~ Most people don’t join the club just to learn dancing anyway. There are many beautiful girls in our club, you know. You would have no problem of getting a girlfriend within a week~”

“I…” Jin Siming blushed, “I already have a girlfriend.”

“Ah?” The beauty widened her eyes in surprise. “You freshmen just started school…damn, which one of us acted so fast?”

Jin Siming: “…”

Not far away from them, two girls sitting behind the recruitment booth with signs for the “Heartbeat Dance Club” watched this scene. Seeing that Zhu Hua, who had been dancing in the center, had now moved to chat up a good-looking freshman, they shook their heads and started to complain.

“She’s at it again?”

“Zhu Hua has always been like this. She never turns down a pretty face and actively goes after top  beauties. She’s just looking for someone to spend her heat periods with.”

“Well, the new club next door recently recruited a stunning freshman as well. With such a beauty as their poster girl, they’ve snatched more than half of the freshmen that were going to join our group. Which means we’ll have less membership fees this year. So it’s not a big problem if Zhu Hua rushes forward to snatch a few new members.”

“True. I must say, Zhu Hua has good taste. This freshman Alpha is really handsome, especially those eyes. One look and they melt my heart! Tsk, tsk, I must support Zhu Hua this time! I hope she can succeed!”

“Ew… you guys are scary.”

When the song ended, Jin Siming took the opportunity to step back and nodded slightly to Zhu Hua to  indicate she was leaving. As she turned, she found Gu Le, who had been missing only a few seconds ago, suddenly standing right beside her.

“Hello, senior!”

Gu Le, though an Alpha, had a round face and cute dimples when she smiled, and looked quite harmless and adorable.

Zhu Hua smiled and nodded at her. “Freshman, are you interested in joining our dance club?”

Gu Le eagerly nodded, “Yes, I am!”

“Then come over and fill out the registration form.” Zhu Hua smiled, glancing at Jin Siming, “It would be even better if your friend joined too~”

With that, she swayed her slim waist and walked away, with Gu Le happily following while pulling Jin Siming along.

There weren’t many people at the registration table, so it was soon their turn to fill out the forms. Jin Siming watched as Gu Le joyfully filled out the form, and once she was done, Jin Siming turned to leave.

“Wait, wait, you didn’t take your membership card.”

One of the seniors called out to her, handing over an empty card. “But, I didn’t register…”

Gu Le turned her head with a mischievous smile, “I signed you up! It’s lonely by myself. I want you to join me~”

Jin Siming: “…”

Jin Siming felt helpless in the face of Gu Le’s relentless persuasion. After being added to the dance club’s WeChat group by Zhu Hua under the pretense of club recruitment, she was finally able to leave.

After lectures finished, even more students flooded into the square. Jin Siming frowned at the bustling club and tugged on Gu Le’s arm: “It’s getting late. Let’s go back.”

“It’s only halfway through the afternoon. Let’s explore a bit more. Darling, listen to me, don’t spend all your time in the lab. Otherwise, you’ll miss out on many meaningful experiences in college. And most importantly…” Gu Le stopped suddenly with a serious face, “If you don’t expand your social circle, you’ll stay single. There are only a handful of students in our major, and the few Omegas we have are all guys. Not to say there’s anything wrong with male Omegas, but they only care about their own bed and don’t consider their partner’s feelings at all. Spending your rut with such people is really uncomfortable.”

“Hey, keep your voice down!” Jin Siming glanced around at the people passing by and quickly interrupted Gu Le with her fair cheeks tinged pink.

Seeing her shy reaction, Gu Le laughed: “What’s the big deal? We’re all adults. Every normal Omega and Alpha has a heat or rut period. You can’t rely on suppressant injections or patches forever, or it’ll ruin your health, girl! It’s more reliable to find a romantic partner, or a bed partner and enter a mutually beneficial relationship.”

“….”

Gu Le’s words were too bold, causing Jin Siming to bite her lip as even her neck turned red. She wanted to stay far away from Gu Le at that moment.

She hadn’t talked to Gu Le about her relationship with Yao Jin yet. Firstly, this was because she and Yao Jin hadn’t officially confirmed their relationship. Secondly, school had just started, and she still felt a certain distance from everyone even after enrollment. Plus, with the heavy coursework, there were few opportunities to discuss such matters.

“I—”

Jin Siming hesitated, intending to tell Gu Le that she already had someone she liked, but Gu Le didn’t give her a chance to finish as she dragged her to another crowded booth.

“Look at that long line! Let’s go check it out!”

Gu Le was drawn to the crowd, and Jin Siming was dragged along with her to the other side of the square.

From the banner, it seemed to be another dance club. However, the recruitment booth wasn’t as flashy as the previous one. There was no attractive dancer or even a sound system, and it all looked very plain. Yet, despite this, there was a long queue of people lining up to register.

“Oh my, the recruiter of this club is really good-looking! Ming-zizi, let’s sign up here too. You never know, we might meet some more beauties!” Gu Le pulled Jin Siming into a line again, but this time Jin Siming followed willingly without any resistance.

Because the beautiful recruiter of the club was Yao Jin.

Yao Jin sat there quietly, her eyes sparkling, and smiled patiently at every student who approached.

Jin Siming stood at the back of the line, staring at Yao Jin without blanking. She was admiring Yao Jin’s serious expression, but seeing so many people also staring at Yao Jin with heated gazes, she felt a pang of jealousy in her heart.

She took a deep breath as a sudden impulse rushed through her. The impulse to take Yao Jin away and hide her away somewhere.

She wanted to lock Yao Jin up in her dorm and…only let her smile at her!

“Here’s the registration form, classmate. Just fill it out and hand it back to me. You don’t need to line up again.”

Maybe to speed up the process, the dance club staff handed out forms to the ones standing in line. However, few people left the line even after receiving them, including Jin Siming.

Gu Le noticed Jin Siming’s suddenly unusual compliance and thought she was finally taking her advice seriously. She patted Jin Siming’s shoulder with a look of relief.

After a long wait, they finally reached Yao Jin. Jin Siming, feeling a bit sour with jealousy, placed her form on the table and, as she had practiced in her mind several times while in line, smiled at Yao Jin. She stared expectantly at Yao Jin, waiting for her to look up at her.

But after staring at her form for a few seconds, Yao Jin raised her head with a cold, frosty expression, while speaking in a tone as if she was speaking to a stranger: “Sorry, we don’t accept members who are already in other dance clubs.”

Without another glance at her, Yao Jin tossed her form aside and called out, “Next.”

“Uh…beauty, I’m also in another dance club, but you accepted my form…” Gu Le, who hadn’t been rejected, asked weakly as she looked at the beautiful girl in front of her who suddenly changed her pleasant attitude.

“Oh, that’s because I’m only targeting her,” Yao Jin said coldly.

Jin Siming stood frozen. She didn’t expect Yao Jin to talk to her like this. She couldn’t understand why Yao Jin was so cold, and acted as if they didn’t know each other.

The recent cold behavior had already made her feel bad enough, but Yao Jin’s attitude now was like a knife, cutting open the grievances that have accumulated in her heart these past few weeks.

A gust of wind blew Jin Siming’s discarded form off the edge of the table. Without a word, she turned and left the line.

Gu Le, who was watching from the side with a confused expression, hurriedly followed as her friend left in anger.

Yao Jin watched Jin Siming’s angry back with cold eyes, but then her lashes trembled as a hint of grievance and resentment flashed across her delicate face.

She gave her time and space to grow, not to be…hooked by other Omegas.

Yao Jin didn’t think her words were too harsh. After all, how could this fool not realize she was jealous?

Jin Siming walked briskly, fuming the entire way back to the dorms before she suddenly stopped.

Gu Le, who had been following her, carefully observed her expression and tentatively asked, “You and that beauty… you know each other, right?”

Her intuition told her there was definitely some relationship between them, and a very close one at that.

“Don’t worry about me. You go back first.”

Jin Siming didn’t answer her question, only clenching her fists. Then, as if she made up her mind about some sort of decision, she resolutely turned back.

If it’s just because she joined another dance club, then… she’ll quit it.

But she had many questions for Yao Jin. Why could Yao Jin be so hot and cold to her, looking so carefree, while she was here overthinking about every little thing.

If Yao Jin was really tired of playing with her and wanted to break up, well… there’s no way she’d let that happen! She wasn’t someone who could be summoned and dismissed at will.

Today, she was going to teach Yao Jin a lesson!
