Regrettably, the driver was unable to watch a third round as the two of them seemed to have negotiated a ceasefire and were silent for the rest of the journey. 

Forty-five minutes later, the driver parked at the company’s gates as he arrived at their destination. Su Wen got out of the car first, and then Shu Yian followed her.

Most of the employees were starting to arrive one by one and as all of them knew Shu Yian, they couldn’t help but be surprised when they saw her as they walked by.

Another girl who looked like the quiet type with black and long straight hair looked at Shu Yian’s work outfit strangely:【 She’s not here to work, right?】

Several employees smiled and greeted Su Wen but they ignored Shu Yian and some even whispered under their breath in front of her: “She’s come to lose face again.” 

“Why else would she be here? As a wealthy second-gen, of course she doesn’t know what shame is!” 

Shu Yian’s face was full of embarrassment. She has never been discussed and ridiculed in this way ever before. However, when she recalled what she knew about the original host’s behavior, it seemed normal that other people would treat her with such prejudice and disgust. 

Therefore, she could not get angry at them and could only silently follow Su Wen with her head and chest held high. At the very least, she’ll try to look more decent. 

Fortunately, Su Wen has her own special elevator. Shu Yian thought, as long as they got on that elevator, she’ll be able to avoid all this embarrassment. However, Su Wen didn’t go along with her plan. In front of the elevator and in front of the entire crowd, she pushed Shu Yian to the side and made her lose even more face with her next few words. 

“This is a special elevator, idle employees have no use for it. Miss Shu, please step aside.” 

The people behind them had eyes full of schadenfreude and indifference, as if they had a deep hatred for Shu Yian. 

Shu Yian clenched her fists and her bones rattled with anger. 

Su Wen’s plan was actually very simple. Ever since she was a little girl, she had been the President of the company and she naturally never liked anyone who disobeyed her. Although the current Shu Yian is not as annoying as before, her ability to talk back to her was first-rate. 

Since she has to work with this woman, she will see this through till the end. So naturally, she will not let go of this chance to put down Shu Yian. 

Seeing Shu Yian’s furious appearance that looked like she was about to fly into a rage, Su Wen couldn’t help but curl her lips. Her eyes were sharp and she didn’t say a word, but in her heart she sneered, 【So what are you going to do? Do you dare to beat me up in public?】

But she had another way to deal with Su Wen.

Shu Yian ignored all the inner voices of the people behind her as she stood on her tiptoes to whisper in Su Wen’s ears, “Do you really think I wouldn’t dare to post your contact information and marriage availability on the internet, right here, right now?” 

From the outside, and to the people eating melon seeds on the side, Shu Yian was whispering intimate words into Su Wen’s ear. They all looked at her like they were looking at a clown. They believed that any moment now Su Wen would kick her out.

But what happened next surprised everyone. 

They watched as Shu Yian leaned forward and actively embraced Su Wen’’s waist. Not only did Su Wen not push her away, she also embraced Shu Yian rather affectionately and said with a smile, “I was just kidding, Little An. Don’t take my words so seriously.” 

The crowd of employees who were looking forward to Su Wen slapping Shu Yian in the face: “…..” 

Is this slapping Shu Yian in the face? Isn’t this slapping their faces instead? 

Also, President Su has never smiled before, but she actually smiled for this woman! Although that smile seemed a little awkward, it was her first time after all so it’s normal for such a stoic person to be bad at smiling. But she’s also cuddling and hugging that woman in front of the entire crowd???

Shu Yian’s hug just now may have seemed initiate, but the moment the elevator doors closed, she exploded with violence and twisted Su Wen’s hand with a ruthless hand. 

Su Wen was short of breath due to the pain and anger. Her chest went up and down violently and she narrowed her eyes slightly while exuding a dangerous arua. 

【If murder wasn’t illegal….I really wish I could’ve crushed this woman until her bones turn into ashes!】

Shu Yian heard her inner thoughts and didn’t bother hiding as she took the initiative to boldly step forward. With her right hand against the wall, and her left hand formed into a fist, she smiled with contempt at Su Wen. Her eyes showed that she was not afraid of the dangerous aura Su Wen was emitting. 

“President Su, please don’t bully others intolerably!” She placed her fist on Su Wen’s stomach as a warning, “I have always been a person who treats others the way they treat me. If you can’t even give me a fake smile, then you can’t blame me for being too much, alright?” 

Shu Yian has practiced martial arts since she was a child. She wouldn’t panic if there were even three large men standing in front of her, much less Su Wen who is a frail woman. Therefore, she really was not afraid to exchange fists with this woman. 

Unfortunately for her, Su Wen had also practiced martial arts. 

“Are you sure you want to fight me here?”

Shu Yian was speechless. She usually is a very reasonable person. Even before a fight, she makes sure to communicate first before exchanging fists. That way, at least the other party understood why they were fighting. So, she stayed in her fighting stance and asked, “If you didn’t force me to chase the car this morning, do you really think I would threaten you?”

Su Wen gave her a glare, but then thought that something was wrong. 

She had stayed silent this entire time, so how was Shu Yian able to reply to her inner thoughts? 

With a ‘ding!’ the elevator finally opened. 

A girl with a big chest and curvy hips stood on the other side of the doors, wearing a white shirt and a professional black skirt. She bowed towards the people inside:” Good morning, President Su. I am your new assistant, Zhou Yu. 

Shu Yian and Su Wen paused their fight to look at the girl 

When the girl didn’t hear an answer, she raised her head and looked up with a smile. Then she froze. 

This situation seems rather serious? 

It seems that the two of them are…fighting? 

She had seen photos of Shu Yian before so she naturally recognized the woman beside her boss. So the other woman should be Shu Yian, right? The rumored woman who clings to Su Wen with a stubborn face and refuses to let go. Only she would be shameless enough to get so close to President Su. 

This was an opportunity. 

If she helped Su Wen get rid of this woman, her boss would definitely be grateful to her and then she won’t have to worry about getting fired from her new job.
