“Wuuuu….” Gu Anran opened her dry eyes, unable to move, her entire body felt sore and in pain. Especially that part of her body.

“Little Ran….you’re awake?” Mu Qingli opened her eyes just as the person next to her did. Although she felt a little apprehensive about what happened last night, she also felt satisfied and excited. However, now was the important moment where she should appease the other party and hope that they could accept their feelings,

“Little Ran, does your body feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

Why don’t you try being pinned for an entire night! Then you can tell me how you feel! Gu Anran cried indignantly in her heart. That was my first time! Couldn’t you have been more restrained! Near the end of it was on the verge of my conscience and almost blacked out! 

And the most important point! We didn’t…turn off the lights! Meaning that in a place full of light….every single one of her embarrassing expressions and movements were seen clearly by Mu Qingli… ahhhhhhhhh! How embarrassing!

Gu Anran’s complexion turned red, then white, and then blue, looking like a color palette. 

“Little….Ran….” Mu Qingli watched Gu Anran closely and seeing the constant changing expressions, she felt anxious. She would rather have Little Ran scold her or curse at her, anything but this depressing silence….

Little Ran won’t leave me, would she?!! Suddenly, this possibility flashed through Mu Qingli’s mind, and she wanted to cry. Quickly, she wrapped her arms around Gu Anran’s waist, afraid that if she let go, this person would walk out of her life forever! No, no, no! I don’t want Little Ran to leave me!!!

Gu Anran was knocked out of her daze by the sudden tight grasp around her waist. Usually, this amount of strength wouldn’t be considered tight, but after being tormented for one night, Gu Anran was unable to stand the pain. Turning around, Gu Anran glanced at Mu Qingli’s pitiful and weeping expression.

“…..”

What’s with the miserable expression?! Why do you look like a wife who was mistreated by her husband!! How did I bully you?!!

However, Gu Anran couldn’t turn away from Mu Qingli’s pouting look. Sigh…I’m just too soft hearted. Sighing in her heart, Gu Anran forcefully raised her sore arm to caress Mu Qingli’s face.

“I’m…fine…you don’t need to worry about me….” A hoarse voice came out of her mouth and her throat felt uncomfortable with a slight tingling feeling. In addition, as she looked down at her body, her arms, shoulders, chest, etc. were covered in bite marks and hickeys. Gu Anran grit her teeth in irritation and reached over to pinch Mu Qingli’s waist. 

“Aooowuu~” Mu Qingli wailed in a grievous tone and looked at Gu Anran with tears in the corners of her eyes. However, she didn’t dare to let those tears fall. Gu Anran was currently angry at her, so if she cries now and show an ungly expression….what if Little Ran hate me for that….I wouldn’t be able to bear it…but it hurts…wuwuwuwu….

Adorable…Gu Anran silently withdrew her arm….why do I feel guilty like I bullied her? If I scold her, my heart hurts. If I hit her, my heart hurts. What do I do then???

Lightly rubbing the place where she had just pinched Mu Qingli, Gu Anran tried to sit up and grab herself a glass of water. However, she was immediately pulled back by a strong force around her waist.

OMG! My waist! I almost threw up…

“Little…R-Ran…are you okay, how are you feeling?” Mu Qingli looked nervously at Gu Anran who was suffering in pain.

“What are you doing?” Gu Anran asked  unhappily as she pulled the arms around her waist off of her. 

“I…this…Little Ran…what were you going to do just now?” Mu Qingli mumbled. 

“To get a drink of water!” Gu Anran raised an eyebrow.

“Oh! Then I can get some for you! Let me do it!” Mu Qingli quickly jumped out of the bed and quickly grabbed a glass with a bottle of water. She then handed it to the Gu Anran sitting on the bed. 

“Thank you.” Her dry throat felt relieved as the water went down and her voice no longer sounded hoarse and raspy. Looking at the clock, Gu Anran saw that it was already nine! Sh*t! We’re about to miss the show! 

“Little Qing, grab your clothes and quickly put them on.”

“Why do we need to hurry?” Mu Qingli searched through the nearby wardrobe as she asked.

As expected of a high class hotel, they even had clothes ready for their guest in the wardrobe and it’s all free of charge. However, each room’s cost was at least in the upper tens of thousands! 

With a little help from Mu Qingli, she was able to get her clothes on, but as she stepped off the bed, her legs felt weak and she fell.

“Little…Ran.” Mu Qingli quickly caught her and Gu Anran’s butt was saved from the miserable fate of hitting the floor. 

“Wu…ah….” Gu Anran really wanted to pick up a pillow and throw it into Mu Qingli’s face. It’s because of this damn scoundrel that I’m like this! 

She staggered into the bathroom, and as she washed up, she noticed that her neck and the back of her ears were covered with marks as well. Her neck she could still cover with a scarf, but behind her ears! How can she go out and see people now! 

After walking back into the room, she could hear a group of footsteps outside. Although the walls were supposed to be soundproofed, it could not block out the sounds of many people. Due to that, one could imagine the crowd outside. 

“Little QIng, let’s go. We need to go outside.” Gu Anran grabbed her coat and put it on.

“Huh? But I just asked someone to bring breakfast up here.” Mu Qingli said in surprise, pointing at the panel of buttons next to the bed. The button that called for service was already lit up. 

“No need, let’s go eat something at the restaurant below. I like their buffet style better.” Gu Anran nonchalantly made up an excuse. Of course, she did like the restaurant better because they had a wider variety selection than room service. However, the biggest reason was because of the drama unfolding outside. 

“Alright, I understand.” Wifey is number one! So why would she not listen to her wifey? And so, Mu Qingli quickly cleaned up the bed, but stopped as she spotted the dots of red on one of the blankets. So when Gu Anran looked away, taking advantage of her inattention, Mu Qingli stuffed the blackent into her bag. Although it threatened to spill out, Mu Qingli was finally able to stuff it in.

Phew…feeling relieved, Mu Qingli skipped lightly as she made her way to Gu Anran.

“Let’s go.” Gu Anran took a deep breath and opened the door. Outside, in the hall, there was a large crowd of people. Previously, the crowd’s attention was on room 006, but due to Gu Anran’s movements, they turned towards her. The room next to theirs also opened and Hong Qingyi stepped out with Chi Mengyan. 

Gu Anran glanced around the crowd. There were at least 50 people, making it hard to breathe in that tight corridor. Among them, at least 30 of them were reporters, journalists, and paparazzi from famous programs and magazines. And the one leading the crowds was the Shangguan family’s matron, the mother of Shangguan Ying and Shangguan Qing. Not sure what her name was, but the gaudy clothes covered in flowers indicated she was up to no good. There were a few other ladies who looked like wives from important families. They were chatting loudly, as if they stood at the forefronts.

“I’m telling you, it’s true! Yesterday, someone said they saw my daughter and Little Wu go into this room together! She said she personally saw it with her own eyes!” Mrs. Shangguan proclaimed loudly, as if it was something everyone should know by now. 

Oh, is that so? That person must be blind then! They were obviously carried over! However, after Mrs. Shangguan said so, furious flashes went off and many tape recorders were held up towards the woman. Mrs. Shangguan’s expression couldn’t be more arrogant and confident. And the woman next to her began to discuss the matter further. 

“Good morning! Little Qing and Little Ran.” Chi Mengyan greeted. 

“Good morning.” x2

“Things are getting interesting!” Hong Qingyi whispered in Gu Anran’s ear. 

“En, I wonder what sort of broken and despairing expression they will show.” Gu Anran smiled. 

“What are the two of you whispering about?” Mu Qingli curiously asked as the two huddled together. 

“Wait a little longer and you’ll understand. It’s going to be brilliant.” Gu Anran motioned with her chin towards Room 006. Then they dragged the two to stand in a place where they can have a good view of the room and leaned against the wall with their arms crossed. 

Ten minutes later, the door next to the room opened. And out of room 005 came Duan Hongwu and Song Wenyan.

“Y-You! How are you here and not in there?” Mrs. Shangguan looked at Duan Hongwu in disbelief and seeing the Song Wenyan behind him, her arrogant expression cracked into pieces instantly. 

“Auntie Shangguan, why are there so many reporters here today?” Duan Hongwu frowned and glanced at the crowd before looking back at Mrs. Shangguan coldly. 

“Where’s my daughter….weren’t you with my daughter?” 

“What are you talking about, Auntie Shangguan? I haven’t seen your daughter since yesterday. I was just thinking of searching for her. I wonder where she is?” Duan Hongwu stared straight into her eyes, his hand scratching his neck as he sneered sarcastically.

Facing Duan Hongwu’s frosty gaze, Mrs. Shangguan’s body trembled. This Duang Hogwu was actually the scheming and smart type! He knew who tried to harm him, but…

Gu Anran noticed the way Duan Hongwu walked, so stiff and weak….Ah! So Duan Hongwu really is the bottom! Hahahaha! (Author: This person has completely forgotten that they are a bottom too ←←)

“You…then…who is the one inside?” Mrs. Shangguan knocked on the door to 006 a few times, but now sound came out. She knocked again, and still seeing no reaction, she turned the doorknob, but the doorknob did not move.

“Go…go get the manager and ask him to unlock the door.” Mrs. Shangguan knew that yesterday they had given their own daughter a dose of the drug along with Duan Hongwu, but if he was here now, who was the one in there with her daughter?

The manager quickly arrived and carried out Mrs. Shangguan’s order. 

“AHHHHHHH──” Seeing the wrecked state of the room and the scene inside, a scream that sounded like a pig was being murdered came out of Mrs. Shangguan’s mouth. Mrs. Shangguan quickly pushed the manager out of the way like a mad woman, trying to block the view from the reporters. However, in the quick window of time, the reporters were able to press forward and their shutters went off. 

“Go away! Get away from here, leave and delete those photos!” 

Like a shrew, her screams rang out through the corridor, but no one made to leave but turned their cameras towards Mrs. Shangguan instead.

“Let’s go.” Hong Qingyi said calmly.

“J-Just now…inside…that was…” Mu Qingli’s eyes were widened in astonishment. 

“That was nothing. Just think of it like something you would see in a movie. 

This is what happens to all those who try to scheme against us! Gu Anran and Hong Qingyi glanced at each other, both seeing the delight in each other’s eyes. 

[Main mission #3 has been completed. The players will have 20,000 points deposited. Confirming all main missions are complete…..confirmed. Please be prepared to leave this world.」

Wait, what?

Too late to react, Gu Anran’s vision went back, and the freefalling began.
