Chapter 70- Beastmen (11)

Time flies back quickly and five years passed in a flash. The time came when the little beasts finally transformed into beastmen. The date of their transformations depended on their birthdays. 

During this period of time, Mu Qingli’s favorability rating went up to 95. 

As for the other main missions, the male lead and supporting male lead’s mission were considered complete as they got together early on. 

Oh, and the mission for defeating the male villain lead was also completed because Mo Du had already died. Hong Yan had injured him seriously at the time, and he was unable to save himself because there was no one to treat him, so he died soon after.

“Anran, Qingli, today is the day Mengyan will transform, let’s go see it together.” Hong Qingyi ran over.

“Okay.” Gu Anran stood up, her face full of curiosity. She only knew that the little beasts were taken into a room, and after about two hours, they became demi-humans when they came out. What should she say about all this…it was indeed a very magical experience.

“Qingli, shall we go together?”

Gu Anran turned his head and asked Mu Qingli, who was eating carrots.

“I’m going.” Mu Qingli nodded fiercely. She had to go in case Chi Mengyan became a heavenly beauty. She needed to be there to prevent Gu Anran from being bewitched by her best friend’s beauty. (Gu Anran: Am I such an untrustworthy person in your eyes?!! Author: Yes. Gu Anran: Beat it!)

Gu Anran, Mu Qingli and Hong Qingyi ran to the location where the transformation would take place. There were many rooms and every time a beastman came out, another little beast went in. They saw that Mengyan was about to go into one of the rooms. 

“Mengyan!”  Hong Qingyi shouted.

Hearing Hong Qingyi’s shout, Chi Mengyan, who was about to enter one of the rooms, stopped and turned her head.

“Why are you guys here?” Chi Mengyan raised an eyebrow and asked.

“We came to see you! And to congratulate you when you come out!” Hong Qingyi smiled. She wanted to be the first to congratulate Chi Mengyan after she came out. 

“Mengyan, good luck! We’ll be waiting for you outside!” Mu Qingli smiled, and besides her, Gu Anran nodded towards Chi Mengyan.

“En….” Chi Mengyan pursed her lips and nodded, when a call came from inside the room.

“I should go in now.” After speaking, she ran into the room and the door closed behind her.

Looking at the closed door, Gu Anran licked the sole of her paw and then asked Hong Qingyi and Mu Qingli, 

“So what are we doing next?” 

“What else? Wait here of course.” Hong Qingyi tilted her head.

“Wait here? But then we’ll mess up the queue order.” Gu Anran motioned to Hong Qingyi to look at the back.

As it turned out, the next little best who was supposed to use this room had arrived. 

He was looking at the three of them strangely, thinking that he had gone in the wrong place, but after checking it twice, he was sure that this was the right room!

“Cough….sorry.” Hong Qingyi apologized to the little beast embarrassedly.

Gu Anran and her group of three decided to wait outside of the transformation center. There were many other beastmen and little beasts waiting there as well. Some were parents of the little beasts, others were friends or significant others. That meant this was the waiting area.

“Wuah….I really want to become a beastman soon!” Mu Qingli enviously saw some young beastmen who had just come out in their newly transformed forms. 

“And you will soon. Your birthday is in two months so it should be any day now.” Gu Anran stretched out her tongue and licked Mu Qingli’s cheek consolingly.” 

“Ew…don’t lick me….” Mu Qingli felt her face heat up and gently pushed Gu Anran away from her. Although she was used to Gu Anran acting intimately with her now, she was still a little shy when they were in public. 

“What’s the matter?” Gu Anran bent down and gestured for Mu Qingli to lie on her back. When the rabbit did so, Gu Anran squirted her eyes in satisfaction at the feeling of warmth on her back. 

Hong Qingyi, who was stuffed full of a sudden onslaught of dog food: “….Mengyan, please hurry back!”

Two hours were not a long time for the little beasts who used the time to nap under the shade of the trees and in the comfort of the sun. The comfortable light breeze made many of them drowsy as they bowed their heads and closed their eyes. 

Rubbing her drowsy eyes, Gu Anran heard the sound of calm breathing from the person on her back. It seemed that Mu Qingli was already asleep.

Then she looked at Hong Qingyi beside her who also looked drowsy, but was forcing herself to stay away as she looked directly at the room Chi Mengyan was in. 

Finally, when the door opened, Hong Qingyi’s eyes lit up. The Chi Mengyan who came out looked the same as the other incarnations of herself in the last few worlds, but because she is a demi-human, she was much taller than a regular human 15-year-old girl should be and her skin was very healthy. It practically glowed with vitality. 

Due to Chi Mengyan’s sudden appearance, the crowd was in a tizzy. The reason was of course due to Chi Mengyan’s outstanding features, coupled with her fire-red fur, it can be said that her looks were among the best in the entire beastmen race. The men were all drooling and even some females as well. 

As soon as Chi Mengyan came out, a black shadow rushed towards her and collided with her body. She caught the figure in her arms and lowered her head. 

“Mengyan!” Hong Qingyi raised her head and shouted, while holding Chi Mengyan’s clothes tightly with her paws, as if she was declaring her claim on the fox. Then she glared at the crowd that was drooling over Chi Mengyan. 

Witnessing Hong Qingyi’s jealous reaction, Chi Mengyan felt a little bit happy inside. She stretched out her hand to touch Hong Qingyi’s soft fur. En, it really is nice to have become a beastman. 

“Mengyan, congrats!” Mu Qingli raised her head and shouted.

“Thank you, let’s go over there first and talk.” Chi Mengyan nodded with a smile.

The four came to the place where they often gathered to play. From Chi Mengyan’s mouth, Gu Anran and the others were able to learn what the transformation entailed. When entering the room, another beastman will give you a pill to eat. The pill is colorless and tasteless. 

After eating it, the body will feel very hot and then heavy. Then you’ll fall into a deep slumber. After waking up, your body will have transformed. 

What kind of magic was this?! This god-like transformation could never happen on earth! No matter how many pills were made, it was impossible to turn animals into humans. But then again, there are no such things as beastman and talking beasts on earth eithers. Perhaps that was one of the major factors why earth still hasn’t created a pill to turn animals into humans. 

Ten months later, Mu Qingli, Gu Anran, and Hong Qingyi were transformed one after another. Hong Qingyi was the last to transform. On that same day, Gu Bing prepared a table of extremely rich dishes for the four to celebrate their new forms. After all, the transformation was the equivalent of becoming an adult. It can be said that taking the pill was the coming of age ritual into adulthood for the beastmen. 

However, not everything went perfectly. During the celebration, Mu Qingli drank too much and Gu Anran was entrusted by Mu Yu to escort Mu Qingli back home. She agreed readily, but when she left, she didn’t notice the evil smile that broke out on Mu Yu’s face. 

When she woke up the next day, her entire body was weak and sore. She wanted to roar towards the sky with injustice. Mu Qingli! Mu Yu! You bastards! 

Who could’ve thought that a mere few days after becoming human, she would be subjugated to this! She’s only 15 for goodness sake! (Yea, a fake 15-year-old that is ←←) It must’ve been that Mu Yu! She had planned this! Gu Anran had only wanted to carry Mu Qingli into her bedroom, onto the bed, and then leave when suddenly she had felt so hot all over her body and then….and then she couldn’t remember the rest!

Then Mu Qingli, who she was initially carrying, suddenly stood up with bright eyes, and carried her to the bed. She had faked being drunk!

Gu Anran was in a weak state then and although she wanted to resist, her body could not do so and the heat within her was eager to please. 

Then in this state of helplessness, she was pressed down and eaten!

When she woke up, the first thing she did was put on her clothes and walk out. She didn’t listen to a single word Mu Qingli said and just walked out despite the other’s obstruction. She believed that she should give a taste of her own medicine. Not to mention, every time this happened, the other party and pitifully cried and apologized, but this time she will not accept it! Hmph, I will not forgive you! ( `^)

As a result, Mu Qingli became fraught with anxiety. She had clearly remembered her older sister telling her that as long as she ‘ate’ the other party, their relationship would be basically set in stone! But she never told her that Anran might be angry with her instead! (What kind of naive kid is this ←←)

The two fought back and forth and one wanted to leave while the other tried to get the other person to say. Even if Gu Anran was angry, she was unwilling to hurt Mu Qingli. However, the pulling and pushing soon became a full-blown fight and eventually the two of them started fighting outside. On the way out, they just happened to run into Mu Yu, who came to watch a good show, with oblivious Gu Bing and gang in tow. 

That resulted in another flurry of fists before the dust settled. However on that day, gossip filled the beastmen society and the rumors that were spreading everywhere were: 

The Young Miss Gu was eaten by the Young Miss of the rabbit clan! 

Gu Bing and her friends beat up Mu Yu, one of the holders of the ten seats!

The heir of the fox clan and the heir of the leopard clan have announced their engagement! Any other suitors were warned to back off! 

….While this series of gossip roamed about, Gu Anran and her friend’s lives as beastmen officially began!
