The Transmigration Missions Are Not Scientific Ch.72

Chapter 72- ABO Interstellar (2)

Leisurely eating the mouth-watering snacks and drinking the flower-scented tea, the life of a princess sure is carefree and delicious.

However, it was the technology of this interstellar world that made one’s eyes brightened with delight. Not only can the robots deliver refreshments, but they can carry heavy objects and do all kinds of cleaning. Their smooth movements were almost no different from a human’s, unlike the robots on earth who moved around jerkily in uncoordinated movements.

After receiving the information from the system, Gu Anran and Hong Qingyi acquired the skills to recognize scents and tell the differences between omega and beta. For example, the ladies standing behind Gu Anran.

Among the eight maids patiently standing behind them, only Tong Yin, the leader of the maids, was an A-grade omega while the rest were betas.

Tong Yin’s scent made Gu Anran feel comfortable, it was so soft and warm, probably because she was another omega like her. Meanwhile, the betas’ scents were barely noticeable, almost like normal, ordinary humans.

As for an alpha’s scent…..there are no alphas around for her to test out, so Gu Anran had no clue what an alpha’s scent smells like. This is because as a rare SSS-grade Omega, the royal family forbids her from having close contact with alphas and ordinary alphas could forget about trying to approach her. Other than her family, no alphas were allowed near her.

Soon the afternoon passed by and Hong Qingyi was escorted home by one of the maids while Gu Anran returned to her room. Her room was simple, but fabulously luxurious, with a floor size of at least 300 square meters. Not only was there an extra-large bed, but the bathroom also had a bathtub the size of a hot-spring with hot water readily available at all times. There was a clean desk with neatly placed books on top and a thick carpet covered the entire floor, except for the bathroom. She didn’t know what material the carpet was made of, but when she stepped on it with her bare feet, she was met with a silky and soft touch.

Ah…..truly a room that belongs to the beloved princess of the royal family…Gu Anran sighed in content.

After taking a nice shower, she looked at herself in the mirror and nodded in appreciation. Her hair was a brilliant blond color and her dazzling blue eyes were truly beautiful. Truly someone with royal blood flowing in them. If she was back on earth, she would be classified as someone of European descent. At about 165 centimeters in height with a delicate face full of fair features, she could be considered a standard beauty.

However, because of her good looks, her family background, her status as an SSS-grade Omega, and due to being spoiled since young, the original owner of this body lived arrogantly and grew up to have a rather unpleasant personality. The inside was rotten, but the outside was beautiful. Hah, what a waste of a good body.

Gu Anran pinched her face a little bit more before walking out of the bathroom. She picked up one of the books casually and began to read so she could learn a little bit more about this world.

Almost an hour later, Gu Anran threw the book to the side and then looked down at her hands. In just a short amount of time….she had memorized the entire content and could recall everything clearly!

This…..Although she learned from the book that this was due to her mental and spiritual power, this power made it so that she couldn’t forget the contents even if she wanted to! This was such an OP ability!

She then clicked on the device in her left hand. Everyone had a technology chip installed in them since birth. It acted as an ID card, and also a computer, a phone, TV, and more. The many uses it held was super convenient for the user.

A semi-transparent image appeared in front of her without the use of a physical projector, as if it had appeared out of thin air. No, it truly did just appear out of thin air. Gu Anran stretched out her hand and touched it carefully, but her hand passed straight through the floating image without any obstruction.

She tried sliding up and down the screen that appeared in thin air and it moved according to her will. Amazing! On a whim, Gu Anran scanned through all the famous news, all the current hot information, and with her almost unforgettable memory she was finished in just a little bit over an hour.

Although there were still many functions of this device-chip that she hadn’t played with yet, it was already two in the morning. She lay on the soft bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

And so, in this manner, Gu Anran lived her next few days in a very carefree manner. She ate all she wanted and slept whenever she wanted. Occasionally she’ll wander around to find interesting things to play with. Hong Qingyi often came over to visit, and her older brother and sister came to visit her from time to time too.

Today, the two of them were supposed to report to the Imperial Military Academy for their first day. It was during this fateful day that she learned what a real sis-con is.

“Little Ran, you need to wear more clothes! You must bring all of these clothes with you!” Gu Anran’s sister, Gu Anxin, walked over with a pile of boxes, and behind her were a group of maids who also carried a bunch of boxes. Behind Gu Anran, several floating electronic boards already held piles of things, so they had to order a few more to fit everything.

This made Gu Anran quite speechless. Just how many things is she bringing? She had to live in the dorms at the military academy, and because those who can enter the military academy are strictly screened and hand-picked, they only enrolled about 2000 people a year.

Of course, the students were also separated into several departments and as long as you keep up your grades, you will have a guaranteed official position after graduation. Therefore, the treatment the students received was quite good. Everyone received their own room, but…..even if she lived in a room by herself, there was not enough space to hold all these clothes! Half of her room will be taken up just by clothes if this continues!

However, an alpha is quite strong. This is what Gu Anran has observed from the scents of her sister and brother. The scent of an alpha is somewhat aggressive and dominating, and even a little bit oppressive to an omega. And apparently, this pressure she felt was considered marginal since they were her family and her body had familiarised with their scents. If it was an unknown alpha, they could overwhelm her with their scent if they wanted to.

Furthermore, the gap between an alpha and omega’s strength was quite significant. Only recently, Gu Anran had watched as her older sister easily smashed a half-person thick boulder with one hand.

Therefore, she was not surprised when her sister picked up more than a dozen suitcases with ease.

“Little Ran, I prepared all of your favorite food and snacks.” On the other side, Gu Anlun walked over with several white boxes in their hands.

After many days of observations, Gu Anran and learned that those boxes were used for food preservation and were much better than the refrigerators back on earth. This kind of box that could store food for over half a year was only just newly launched and was extremely expensive. However, seeing the 20 boxes in front of her….Gu Anran decided to stay silent.

“Brother, sister, didn’t you two start school a few days ago? Don’t you have classes to go to?” Gu Anran looked at the suitcases that increased by over three times the original amount and decided to just leave it be.

Both Bu Anlun and Gu Anxin have already started studying at the military academy, one of them is two years older than her while the other is only a year older. It is said that both were outstanding students in the mecha piloting department, so why were they here on a school day?

“It’s alright, everything’s fine. Anyhow, we will go with you to register today. The entire new student registration is rather troublesome so we’ll help you out. You just need to show your face and then you can leave the rest to us.” Of course, Gu Anxin will never admit that they had decided to skip their classes to accompany their little sister. Hmph, her younger sister’s matters were much more important and everything else can be pushed to the side. (Sis-cons are just that amazing←←)

“Yes, yes, it takes half an hour to get to the military academy by car. Anran will definitely feel tired so you can just go back to the dormitory early to rest while I arrange a few people to take care of everything for you.” Gu Anlun’s thoughts were on the same wavelength as Gu Anxin’s and at the same time, his words diverted Gu Anran’s attention.

Gu Anran curled his lips helplessly. Although she is an omega who is more delicate than a beta, is she so fragile that she will get tired after sitting half an hour in a car?

Although she complained inwardly, her luggage was still packed and Gu Anxin and Gu Anlun both got into the car with her.

The royal family’s exclusive car is very spacious and it even has a bathroom and a bar in it. Even the seats are different as it was in fact a U-shaped leather sofa. They even had a maid to attend to them.

“Thank you.” Gu Anran nodded to the maid. She took a sip of the coffee that was handed to her, and the rich aroma spread in her mouth. Gu Anran raised her eyebrows slightly. She couldn’t actually taste any coffee flavor. Isn’t it a new breed of beans? Hmm… it actually tastes pretty good.

“Little Ran, if you are bullied at school, you must tell us!” Gu Anxin was afraid that the innocent (?) Gu Anran would be bullied by her peers and patted her younger sister’s head anxiously to remind her.

Gu Anran nodded silently. Bullied? I’m afraid that I’m the one who would be doing the bullying.

“You can ask us if you have any questions. Although we are in the mecha piloting department, we also know many students from the mecha engineering department. They will definitely help you.” Gu Anlun added.

“En.”

Mecha…Gu Anran, who has seen many mecha pictures online, sighed inwardly.

Mechas are really cool and she really wanted to pilot one but…..if one wanted to operate a mecha, they must have strong mental power and a strong body. Omegas’ delicate physiques were unsuitable for it and so even if they had adequate mental power, it was very dangerous for them to pilot those big monstrosities. So most of the mechas were driven by alphas and a few betas. Although the betas make up the majority of the empire, most are so ordinary that only a few betas had mental powers that exceeded the A-level, which was the level needed to pilot a mecha.

A person’s level of mental power determines one’s precision and accuracy when operating mechas, so those with low mental power can only operate low-level mechas (in this world, mechas are split into ten levels, with the first level being the most common. At present, no one has been able to create a mecha higher than the seventh level.) Only those with an SS-level mental power or higher can control a seventh-level mecha.

It is said that omegas can drive a first level mecha, but as the most beloved little princess of the royal family and a rare SSS-grade omega, how could the royal family let Gu Anran take such risks? Therefore, Gu Anran could only watch some films about mecha, consoling herself with these illusions.

“Oh, right, that daughter from the prime minister’s family, Hong Qingyi, has been specially arranged to live next door to you. Since you grew up together, you can consider her as another person that can take care of you at school.” Gu Anxin added another thing.

“Ok, I understand.” Gu Anran nodded. This way, it will make it easier to find Hong Qingyi when she needs her.

Gu Anlun took out a box of biscuits and handed it over to Gu Anran who began to eat with small bites. She watched as many buildings flashed by before the car finally stopped.

In front of her was a pair of majestic gates. Carved within the huge stone pillars were dragons and phoenixes dancing together and on the big plaque at the top, the carvings formed the words: “Imperial Military Academy.

  1. I don’t even know what ABO is but sounds interesting. Besides it would be cool if the mc learns how to make some of these tech and recreate them in another world.
