Ch.102-The so-called ‘you can’t judge a book by its cover’?!

“It’s not nice to meet you at all.” Wen Jiexi bared her teeth coldly as she stared at the man alertly.
“You know him?” White Snake frowned slightly.
“One of the people who tried to kidnap me last time and…a very powerful man.” Wen Jiexi said with pursed lips as she reluctantly spat out that last bit. She did not want her companions to be caught off guard just because of her petty pride.
“Powerful….” White Snake said blankly as she narrowed her eyes. She is someone with years of fighting experience under her belt so that information will only be verified after she personally fights with him. However, she will still treat the man with vigilance.
“Wen Jiexi, right? My dear Little Xixi, my name is Crazy Monkey~ Although this is only our second meeting, I was enamored by you since the first time we met~ I really want to…..open you up and study that anatomy of yours~” Crazy Monkey did not conceal the desire in his eyes as he licked his lips and looked Wen Jiexi up and down like an interesting specimen.
Yiyiyi! Disgusting! A real psychopath! Actually, wants to dissect me?!! Wen Jiexi shivered as she rubbed her arms and could feel goosebumps rise upon them. Not only does the psycho want her but also wants to dissect her! She did not escape or run away as she calmly stared at him.
“Please get out of our way.” The leader pointed his gun at the first person in the crowd. Whoosh….
The other men and women also took out their own guns as they aimed at the thugs in front of them.
“Aiya~ You guys are so impatient, how can you be so anxious?” Crazy Monkey held a hand against his cheek and then yawned leisurely despite that most of the guns were pointed at him. He lightly pressed a button on the controller in his hand.

Countless sparks sprang from underneath his chair. This….electricity?! And such a high voltage too! This thought flashed quickly in Wen Jiexi’s mind before she was thrown to the ground by White Snake and they both rolled several feet away.
Wen Jiexi looked at the ground. Who knows when but water has spread all over the floor and the place they had rolled to was the only part where the floor was dry. She raised her head. There was a smell of burned meat and she saw a scorched body in front of her that convulsed constantly. It seems that they have been paralyzed by the electric shock.
As for why there was such a strong burned meat smell, it was because beside Crazy Monkey was a crowd of scorched corpses.
“Hmph, these people are not pretty at all, covered in ugly tattoos! They can’t be used for my collection but you guys are perfect so I’ll let the rest of you live.” Crazy Monkey then threw the controller to the side and kicked a blackened body to the side. Wen Jiexi furrowed her brows. Although the voltage was rather high, it should not have caused those thugs to die! This was not scientific at all!
“Huh? Are you curious? Isn’t it strange?” Crazy Monkey seemed to have read Wen Jiexi’s thoughts as he spread his hands and then pointed at one of the burnt corpses.
“Although the voltage I used was not fatal, I have specifically placed some small conductive objects on each one of them and it seems I was successful. Although I prefer to kill them so that their blood paints the room, this is fine too and it feels rather nice too~”
Wen Jiexi carefully stood up, lifting White Snake up with her only to realize that White Snake was trembling slightly. Although the woman was able to get out of the range in time, one of her legs was still electrocuted. Her entire leg was trembling and her face was ghastly pale.
“Run…hurry and run.” White Snake frowned as she struggled out of Wen Jiexi’s hold and pushed the girl away from her. Although the girl is strong and brave, unlike the rest of them, she is not someone who should sacrifice their life here.
“With so many of you paralyzed, how can I leave you alone?” Won’t that psychopath try and dissect them all if she leaves? And Sister Su is still up there! How can she run away without saving the person she had come to rescue?
“Ai? Little Xixi, are you going to run? How can that do~ If you try to run away, then I will dissect all of these people and live stream it on the internet for everyone to watch~” Crazy Monkey smiled and said a string of chilling words.
“How can you treat human life like that!” Wen Jiexi stared at the man in disbelief. He looked normal on the surface, yet held such vicious thoughts in his head.
“I didn’t say I was going to kill them?” Crazy Monkey titled his head, as if he had heard something strange and then shrugged as he continued, “I have practiced my skills for more than ten years, so I’m very good at this, I’ll have you know~ I’ve been practicing since I was young, first on small animals~ Then my subjects kept getting bigger and bigger and I was so happy! This also represents the growth of my own skill level I guess. I can even guarantee that when I finish the dissection, those people will not die! At best they will be in extreme pain~ But at worst, they will die during the dissection but not because of me but because they are too weak. Some mice I’ve dissected before lasted for nearly a day! Who would have thought that some humans are weaker than mice?”
The veins in Wen Jiexi’s forehead began to pop. This person is f*cking unbelievable.
“Since you love your dissecting so much, then why not use yourself as the subject? Have you even obtained consent from your human subjects?”
“Why do I need their consent? To be dissected by me should be an honor, they should be grateful for the chance. And I am a surgeon, can you find someone else with the same level of skill and experience as me?” Crazy Monkey used a righteous tone to explain his reasoning, making his actions seem logical and right.
Alright, reasoning with a psychopath isn’t going to work. Wen Jiexi thought as she raised her mallet and pointed it at Crazy Monkey.
“Let me pass. I’ve got some people to save.”
“Save? Ah, of course, you can save them, but you have to defeat me first.” Crazy Monkey said with a smile, and an eager expression on his face as he raised his knife.
Dango, be ready to support me at any time. If I need to buy something from the shop, you’ll have to buy it for me.
“Ok, just leave it to me! Hurry up and get rid of this lunatic already!” Dango said, patting its chest. Dango has heard everything Crazy Monkey said and was baffled by the lunatic’s ravings. How narcissistic, how arrogant, how insane!

Wen Jiexi smashed the hammer towards Crazy Monkey but he dodged it easily so it hit the pillar behind him instead. The mallet sunk deeply into the pillar, but Wen Jiexi easily pulled it out as rubble flew everywhere and cracks appeared on the pillar. Looking at the size and depth of that dent, one could tell that the other party is really strong.
“Ooooooohhhhh! Amazing, simply amazing! As expected of the person who has caught my eyes! This strength, this unimaginable power! Hehehe, I really, really, really want to dissect you!” Crazy Monkey’s eyes flashed with glee and he drew another knife as he rushed towards Wen Jiexi.
Dango, go and check exactly how many weapons this man has on him! Wen Jiexi ordered calmly and blankly greeted Crazy Monkey with her mallet.
“Alright, leave it to me!” Dango replied and flew towards Crazy Monkey.
Wen Jiexi glanced at Dango quickly before swinging her mallet again at Crazy Monkey. Crazy Monkey jumped out of her range, backflipping in the air as he avoided her mallet. During that tiny window in time where Crazy Monkey was in the air, Wen Jiexi took this opportunity to charge at him. Wen Jiexi understood her strength. Most people would only be able to swing this mallet a few times, but she swung as many times as she wanted without getting tired. Her violent swinging prevented Crazy Monkey from being able to go on the offensive.
There was no other choice but to be on the defensive. If he was hit by that mallet, one hit will end up with broken legs, arms, or even broken ribs.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The sound of the mallet hitting the pillars rang out and rubble and glass flew everywhere as cracks appeared on almost every surface. As for her companions that were still paralyzed on the floor, many of them were dragged out of the way by White Snake and slowly got out of the terrifying battlefield. Just how many weapons are on this guy? According to Dango’s report, there should be only around a dozen knives hidden on his body and black needles as thick as a man’s finger. There were even some rings on his hand that was actually disguised as poison needles and even a gun on the back of his waist. What is he? A mobile weapons storage? Just how many needles does he have on him?
“Huuu….Huuuu….You’re…you’re even more powerful than I thought.” Crazy Monkey panted breathlessly. He was currently in a sorry state, his body covered in scratches and bruises but no serious injuries. He threw his broken knife to the side and looked at his hands which were in a more dire state than his body. His hands were bloody beyond belief and looked more like a lump of flesh, but he didn’t care as he licked at his wounds with an intoxicated look on his face and swallowed his blood like he was drinking water.
“Wo kao! That’s disgusting!” Dango shivered.
“Let. Me. Pass.” Wen Jiexi was also panting as she solemnly repeated her words from before. Her body was also covered in scratches and some blood. It was unavoidable as some of Crazy Monkey’s black needles did graze her every now and then. His speed and sneak attacks surprised her even when she had her guard up against him. If it weren’t for her own superhuman speed, several of those black needles would’ve long penetrated her body instead of just grazing her.
“I want to let you pass, but the Young Master upstairs ordered that I must stop you here and not let you disturb his fun.” Crazy Monkey shrugged and said.
Disturb his fun. Those words echoed in her head and caused Wen Jiexi’s eyes to glow red. She was once again reminded of the scene of Feng Xiaoliang walking towards Sister Su with a scalpel. How dare this psychopath make fun of the danger her lover is in!
Her anger became her strength, and Wen Jiexi smashed towards Crazy Monkey with an even more violent force than before.
“Oh ho, you still got lots of energy~,” Crazy Monkey said playfully as he avoided another swing of the mallet.
“So noisy!” Wen Jiexi gritted her teeth and swung the mallet once again.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The fight started anew, but this time it went differently than the previous bout. Wen Jiexi attacked more quickly and fiercely, her anger fueling her attacks. Whistle Crazy Monkey was already tired out from the previous round, about half of his endurance having worn out long ago. He slowly began to slow down, his dodges became more and more awkward. Sometimes he simply just rolled out the side, regardless of his image.

“Huuu….Huuu….” Wen Jiexi wiped the sweat off her face. She believed that Crazy Monkey should be down for good this time. She had heard the sharp and crisp sounds of bones breaking, but she didn’t know if it was serious enough.
“Cough…cough…” Crazy Monkey clutched his stomach and coughed up a few mouthfuls of blood. His expression was pained and his face was pale. Cold sweat broke out on his forehead and he seemed to be in severe pain, “I never expected….that I would lose…but it was worth it! All worth it! Such an interesting little thing, for me to have laid eyes on it in this lifetime…I am very lucky~”
Wen Jiexi ignored Crazy Monkey’s ramblings and asked Dango to keep an eye on him as she dug the walkie-talkie out of her pocket.
“I am done here, you guys can come up now.”
“Ah, yeah, we know, we saw everything.”
They did? Wen Jiexi was taken aback for a moment and turned her head to see the bomb disposal team standing not too far away. The one standing in the front held up a walkie-talkie and waved at her awkwardly.
Wen Jiexi: You guys were here the entire time?!!
Bomb disposal team: Ok, we do feel a little guilty to let that girl fight so desperately by herself! Ah, so guilty!
“I’ll leave that to you then, I’m going up first.” Wen Jiexi pointed at Crazy Monkey lying on the ground.
“Ok, Miss Wen, leave this to us.” The leader nodded and several people appeared behind him with ropes. They tied up Crazy Monkey’s hands and feet and made sure the knots were secure. They had seen the man fight just now, they had to make sure he can’t attack them once he regains his strength.
Unfortunately, before they could even tie up the person, an accident appeared. Wen Jiexi was the closest to Crazy Monkey and when one of the men bent down to tie the rope, he was pulled to the ground. He fell heavily to the ground and looked up with confusion. That’s when he saw the black needle that was positioned right where his artery would’ve been.
If it weren’t for Wen Jiexi’s quick reflexes in pulling him down, he would’ve been stabbed and probably bled out. A trace of fear flashed in his eyes. This was his first encounter with a life and death situation.
Crazy Monkey met everyone’s furious gazes with a frown as he licked his lips. He wasn’t afraid of his opponents even when surrounded and disabled. He looked down at the bomb disposal team with such arrogance, like he was looking at a pile of trash.
“Hmph, you bunch of trash, don’t even try touching me. Only those who I approve of can lay their hands on me.” After saying that, he looked over at Wen Jiexi meaningfully, his eyes full of confidence and smugness.
The blue veins on Wen Jiexi’s forehead jumped, this annoying psychopath!
“Jiexi beat him up! He is so annoying! He doesn’t even treat others as human beings! Who does he think he is? Even those young masters from the major families are not this arrogant!” Dango waved a small fist with dissatisfaction.
I agree….Wen Jiexi gritted her teeth. She chopped the back of Crazy Monkey’s neck and the man was knocked unconscious. Then she tied him up with the rope and then pushed the man towards the bomb disposal team,
“I’ll leave this with you.”
“O-oh…..”
The bomb disposal team was stunned: This….such a merciless and ruthless girl! Maybe only the Young Miss could handle someone like this! Wow, our Young Miss is so amazing!
Even Dango’s mouth was hanging open in surprise. Originally, Dango thought that Wen Jiexi might need some persuasion to do something so harsh but seeing how neatly she had cleaned up this mess, Dango could only give her a thumbs-up: You’re the best!
After sorting out all the problems, Wen Jiexi made her way upstairs until she arrived at a door covered in iron chains. She pushed and pushed but the door wouldn’t budge. It seems to be locked from the inside and someone had specially designed this door to withstand almost anything. It seems that scumbag really was prepared to die.
Wen Jiexi narrowed her eyes, raised her mallet, and then discourteously swung it at the door.
