Ch.84-The day people started treating me like a crazy person?!
Wen Jiexi rushed over to her bed, smoothed it out and then pressed the button to accept the call.
“Sister Su.”
Su Chenyu’s beautiful face immediately appeared on the screen. The lighting in the background was better now, the face was much clearer compared to last time where it was somewhat blurry.
“Can you see me? Little Xi?” A soft voice rang out and her face smiled at her, making Wen Jiexi blush furiously again.
“En! Uh, Sister Su, Sister Xue just just gave me the script for Director Peng. She hopes that I can win the role of the third female lead, Li Ying.” Wen Jiexi smiled in excitement, her gaze clearly saying that she was seeking encouragement.
“Good, make sure to work hard, Little Xi. I already got the role of the female lead and now I’m waiting for you.” Su Chenyu looked at Wen Jiexi and blinked. Ah, that puppy dog stare made her want to reach out and rub her little sheep’s head!

“Huh? Then if I become old and ugly, will Little Xi hate me then? Does Little Xi only like me for my looks?” Su Chenyu clutched her chest and said sadly. Her performance was worthy of her title as Film Princess as her sobbing appearance looked very distressing.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Wen Jiexi was reading the script in her hands. This film’s plot revolves around a Demon Sage and the eldest disciple of the martial arts alliance leader.
Although their identities were one of polar opposite and bitter enemies, they still loved each other deeply. However, the conflict between righteousness and evil was not something easily resolved. The road to love is a rather bumpy one, especially when both of them stood on opposite sides of the conflict. The male and female lead was already confirmed. The female lead will be played by Su Chenyu while the male lead is apparently some famous actor. Just based on the fame of these two actors and the number of fans they each had, Director Peng’s play was already guaranteed to be a hit. “I’m fine.” Wen Jiexi laid there for a little bit and then forced her aching body to slowly open the book. Instantly the book turned into light fragrant and then entered her forehead.

“Dango, stop sleeping, time to get up! Today is a very important day!”
“Isn’t it just an audition….” Dango muttered in a low voice. It;s little liver can’t take so much stimulation in the morning….oh, wait, Dango forgot that as a non-living creature it did not have a heart or liver.
“Come on, Sister Su is waiting for me!” Wen Jiexi said, patting Dango on the head.
That’s right, yesterday Su Chenyu told her that since she is the female lead, she was allowed to come watch the auditions. Then she said they would have dinner together after the audition! So if she’s going to see Sister Su today, what clothes should she wear? A long dress? A t-shirt? Wen Jiexi rummaged through the closet, trying to find clothes that could highlight her best features.
“Jiexi, what are you doing?” Dango yawned sleepily and tilted its head as it watched Jiexi flip her closet upside down.
“I’m looking for something suitable to wear. Something that’s elegant and classy so that I can match with Sister Su.” Wen Jiexi didn’t lift her head as she answered Dango’s questions.
Dango looked at the ground. Over 80% of the clothes on teh floor are sweatshirts. As for classy…..it’s better if Dango doesn’t say anything.
Half an hour later, Li Lingmeng knocked on the door to hurry Wen Jiexi. Meanwhile, Wen Jiexi finally decided to give up. She doesn’t have a single elegant dress she could wear!
Dango: You’re not attending a banquet….can you even go to an audition in a dress or suit? I think she’s sick. Yup, as expected, people who fall in love all become brainless idiots.
Wen Jiexi decided to put on the clothes Xue Molin had bought for her not too long ago. A white sleeveless top, and loose but slightly tight black trousers. The role she is auditioning for made it so it wasn’t suitable for her to wear a skirt or jeans. After all, if she was to make any big movements the fabric would end up tearing and then….
No, she absolutely cannot allow any accidents to happen in front of Sister Su! Wen Jiexi patted her cheeks with determination and then opened the door with a smile, only to greet the smell of breakfast.
“Why were you so slow….” Li Lingmeng put a plate of a dozen fried eggs on the table in front of her.
Li Lingmeng then looked at the mountain of toast in front of her, the lettuce salad the size of a washbasin and the large pot of roasted ham slices. This amount would be enough to feed several pigs but was actually barely enough for the three of them with Wen Jiexi’s large appetite. Of course a certain someone’s appetite has also grown recently because they’ve recaptured their lover. In fact, that certain someone was still in the kitchen, humming while frying the bacon in the pan. She was even making congee that was better than most restaurants.
“Hahahah…it’s nothing, just feeling a little nervous.” Wen Jiexi said awkwardly as she tied her hair into a ponytail.

“Smells good.” Wen Jiexi lifted the lid and immediately a wave of head greeted her along with a lgih fragrant smell. She looked inside and saw that the pot of porridge was still bubbling.
“Hurry up and eat, we’re going to set off when we’re done! Eat enough to nourish your spirits and allow you to send all the other competitors flying!” Xue Molin bit into the sausage harshly liek she was eating one of Wen Jiexi’s competitors.
“Sister Su, Little Xi is going in for an audition not a fight.” Li Lingmeng sandwiched a slice of egg and ham between two toasts and happily took a bite out of it.
“Tsk, Jiexi, you must put in extra effort today, ok? Don’t you want to be with your Sister Su? To act together, play together, and then stay in the same room together. Would you be able to stand watching your Sister Su sleeping with other people?” Xue Molin attempted to excite Wen Jiexi’s fighting spirit.
Although she lived with Little Yiyi for almost a month, Wang Anyi had left to support Su Chenyu a few days ago. So, for her own happiness, Wen Jiexi must succeed!
Li Lingmeng: You bunch of annoying bastards! Bullying us single dogs everyday! Be careful or else I will secretly curse all of you!
“I’ll definitely work hard! Sister Su can only sleep with me!” Wen Jiexi said angrily when she heard that her sister Su might ‘sleep’ with other people. She waved her small fists angrily in the air while gulping down her porridge.

And so, because of these two idiots’ actions, Li Lingmeng and the non-living Dango’s thoughts coincided with one another.
The three of them ate a sumptuous, hearty breakfast, and then got into the company car that was prepared for them.
When she opened the car door, the first thing she saw was a thatched hut, a messy pile of rocks and a small pond that may or may not have fish in it. There was also a small hill behind it but….why are they in the middle of nowhere.

“Director Peng’s audition locations are never the same. Sometimes there in a building, sometimes in a little cottage hidden behind some bushes and sometimes in the middle of the ocean even. So finding the audition location is like a treasure hunt. We should just be happy that we actually got a direct address.” Li Lingmeng whispered into Wen Jiexi’s ears.
Wen Jiexi: “….” Alright, I guess powerful people are allowed to do what they want. Not like she can do anything about it.
It had just rained so the ground was quite muddy and slippery. However, she didn’t really mind. After all, Wen Jiexi felt that this place is much better than the strange locations Old Zhan had taken her to when she was on the variety show……and the other two didn’t care at all as they had worn special black boots.

“That person is from Guanghua, her name is He Yueyue. She’s an actress that recently performed in a newly aired drama and played the third female lead. She’s gotten some good results and therefore is quite valued by Guanghua, at least as a newcomer with great potential. I’ve watched her show and the acting skills are pretty decent, but her fame has gotten to her head and I heard she argues with her company’s seniors often.” Li Lingmeng said quietly.
“Oh…” Wen Jiexi looked over at He Yueyue. She doesn’t look special or anything…
“Let’s go, we need to hurry. Ignore that person.” Xue Molin said.
This caused Wen Jiexi to glanced at He Yueyue again, but she didn’t expect the other to meet her gaze. She was taken aback but nodded in greeting and turned to leave. However, the other party did not seem to have any intention to let her go. Soon a screechy voice rang out,
“Hey, did you stare at me just now? In the entertainment circle, I can be considered your senior yet you didn’t even say hello to me and just simply stared?!!”
