Ch.99-In the invisible contest between the two sides? !
After returning to the dressing room, Wen Jiexi saw the empty room and felt taken aback. Where is Sister Su? Where did she go? However, all their things were still here, so she couldn’t have left. Did she go to the bathroom too? But how come she didn’t see her on her way back?
She scratched her head in confusion and when she saw that her phone was ringing she hurriedly walked over and unlocked it. She saw that she had many missed calls from Sister Xue…what exactly has happened?
Wen Jiexi answered the phone: “Hi, Sister Xue-” She didn’t get to finish as a series of words bombarded her.
“Jiexi, where were you just now? Why didn’t you answer your phone earlier? What about Chenyu? Did anything happen to her? Did you see something?”
Wen Jiexi stiffened when she heard the frustration and panic in the other person’s voice. She felt a bad premonition in her heart, the current situation confirming the anxiety she had felt just now in the bathroom.
Chenyu….what happened to Sister Su…..Wen Jiexi felt her throat constrict and her throat felt dry. She squeezed out some words,
“I just went…to the bathroom so what happened….”
The person on the other side was silent for a while. The other party couldn’t blame Jiexi as she didn’t expect Su Chenyu to follow her lover everywhere, especially into the bathroom. Even if their relationship was especially close, one doesn’t just go hand in hand to the bathroom with their lover.

With bloodshot eyes, Wen Jiexi slammed the table beneath her and it broke under her touch. There was an obvious palm print on the surface of the tale and the veins were popping on the hand of the hand that did this. The little coffee table had been destroyed in just one move.

“Who was it? Was it the Feng family?!” A sharp glare pierced through everyone. The previous soft and gentle person was nowhere to be found in the angry woman in front of them. The sudden personality change showed just how much shock Su Chenyu’s capture had caused. Even Wen Jiexi’s anger had reached a tipping point.
“Little Xi, calm down! Moving rashly now will do us no good. Even if it is the Feng family, you cannot rush over and it will only hurt Goddess Su even more.” Li Lingmeng swallowed nervously as she looked over at her childhood friend she had played with since little finally showed her anger for the first time in years.
“Jiexi, calm down and listen to me. who took Chenyu away, I think you must all know inside your hearts so we must now mobilize all our manpower to investigate where Chenyu was taken. Even if we do figure out the location, we must not act rashly. Got it?” Xue Molin said solemnly.
“Ahhh, really, these people always like to use such underhanded means. We have eradicated about 90% of their forces so I didn’t expect them to still kidnap people! Also, it seems their target had been Chenyu this entire time.” Chu Feng scratched his head violently and said with a panicked expression.
“Will they try to kidnap another one of us?” Xue Poran asked with a shiver.
“I do not know, but in my opinion, I don’t think they will. However, if they wanted to have leverage in this fight, their kidnapping of Chenyu was their best move. Since she is the most important figure out of all of us.” Li Lingqing sighed. What she said was correct as Su Chenyu held more importance than all of them without a doubt.
If she were to kidnap someone, Li Lingqing admits that she would also pick Su Chenyu. However, it would have only been a thought as, after all, their family can’t possibly fight the Su family so after a few bouts they would’ve definitely have lost. However, it seems that the Feng family no longer cared about this fact.
They had suffered heavy losses already and most of their businesses had fallen. It seems that they have decided to take the gamble. So they might as well sacrifice everything and then pick up the fattest sheep they can get their hands on. Unfortunately, Su Chenyu was the fattest sheep of them all and was naturally targeted.
“But didn’t Chenyu have people around her to protect her? So why did this…” Chu Heling asked hesitantly.
“It seems that Chenyu’s phone had been hacked into so messages were sent to other people under the guise that it was her. Although this method isn’t perfect, it still was able to pick off the bodyguards one by one. It should be a rather rookie hacker as the messages weren’t perfect, but because the messages sounded urgent it might’ve caused them to move anyways.” Xue Molin said as she laid out the documents that had the text messages on them.
With a closer look, one could see that there are actually a lot of warning signs as many of the messages were unlike what Su Chenyu would really say. It is not complete and one could tell that the hacker perhaps was kicked out of the system before they could finish the message.
“The images from the CCTV have been sent.” Chu Feng pulled up a file and pointed to a picture of a black car.
“It’s this one. The license plate is obviously fake, and they deliberately are trying to avoid the street cameras, but some traces were still found. Now our people are trying to track the route of this car, and then guess the direction it is heading in and what their destination is.”
“Do we need to inform the Su family?” Li Lingmeng asked after carefully glancing at Wen Jiexi.
“…When Chenyu’s accident happened, the news probably had been sent back to the Su family already.” Li Lingqing sighed and said. As the jewel of the Su family, if there is an accident, the group of bodyguards will immediately pass the news along to the family. The message should’ve reached the Su family already.
“Listen carefully, everyone, we don’t know if there will be any more ‘accidents’ so everyone must be careful and don’t eat or drink anything of unknown origin. And if there are any suspicious people, don’t hesitate and hurriedly call the police. It is better to kill a hundred by mistake than to let a single one slip through our fingers.” Xue Molin tapped against the table lightly and then glared at Wen Jiexi, her eyes flashing with a solemn warning that seemed to say, ‘You better not act rashly, don’t add to the chaos.’
After some more discussion, everyone gradually dispersed as Wen Jiexi listlessly sat on the sofa.
“Don’t think too much about it, Goddess Su will be fine.” Li Lingmeng patted Wen Jiexi’s shoulder to comfort her but didn’t get any response so he shook her head with a wry smile, “You should rest, I’ll be leaving first.”
The door closed with a click, and the room fell silent. Dango, who had been floating to the side for a long time, understood the seriousness of the matter. Dango flew over to Wen Jiexi’s side and said with anxiety and a touch of comfort,
“Jiexi, don’t be sad. I believe those scumbags wouldn’t dare to touch Su Chenyu. If they dared to do anything, the Su family will never let them go. I think they’ll be caught so, yeah…I think.” Dango clenched its fists and said with pursed lips.
“I’m fine.” Wen Jiexi raised her head and looked up at Dango. The hoarseness of her voice startled Dango and her bloodshot eyes were scary beyond comparison. Dango didn’t know what to say before Wen Jiexi stood up, and laughed to herself while madly combing through her hair with her fingers,
“I just think…if I was by her side, this wouldn’t have happened, right?”
“Jiexi, don’t say that….it’s natural for you to leave her side every now and then. There is nothing wrong with going to the bathroom for a couple of minutes, you can’t suppress the urgency of such a thing.” Dango waved a hand and said.
“I don’t even know how she’s doing right now…” Wen Jiexi ignored Dango’s words and paced around the room. Although Dango’s words were reasonable, if she knew this would have happened, she would have held it in even if it was detrimental to her health then let Sister Su be in danger. Regret was truly bitter, but unfortunately, there is no medicine one can buy to cure regret.
When she threw herself on the bed, the faint fragrance of Sister Su still lingering on it. It helped her calm down just a little bit, and she decided what she needed to do. She will save her. No matter if she has to follow someone or go by herself, she will rescue her. A trace of ruthlessness flashed in her eyes and Wen Jiexi jumped up as she opened her missions panel.

Su Chenyu woke up shaking as she opened her dry eyes. Everything was dark in front of her and she could tell from the vibrations that she was in a car. Her entire body felt sore and weak as she tried to move. She deduced that she was most likely stuffed into the trunk of the car. Thinking about the fact that she was stuck in the trunk of some car, Su Chenyu felt rather annoyed.
Unfortunately, even if her mind was wide awake, her body was still weak and she had no weapon to cut herself out of the bag. She couldn’t even see anything and only vaguely hear the sounds around her.
“Hahaha, Boss, this time we have caught a big fish!”
“Hmph, and here I thought that this woman has a lot of bodyguards, but it seems like they were all useless. And it really was like what the employer said, those groups of fools were easy to trick and we easily carried her out from right under their noses. Hehehe, I thought this task would be difficult, but I didn’t expect it to be easier than I thought.”
Su Chenyu could tell there were at least two men in the car. However, she was very sure that there were at least three of them, if not more since before she had blacked out she had seen at least three figures.
Su Chenyu raised her eyebrows at their words but felt relieved as well. From their words, she could tell that their target was only herself and not Little Xi so that meant Little Xi was not embroiled in all of this. She was actually more afraid for Little Xi than for herself.
Su Chenyu believed they were either on the road to somewhere in the countryside or driving up a mountain as there were many potholes and made her feel rather dizzy. While Su Chenyu felt uncomfortable, the other people in the car also complained unhappily.
“Hey, hey, mosquito, can you drive better? I have a few bumps on my head now because I keep hitting the roof of the car.”
“Yeah, and my arm hurts too!”
“I can’t help it, ok? We’re trying to avoid the cameras so we have to go this way, otherwise, why would I go this way unless I want to break my car.”
After some more grumbling and complaining, the car finally stopped.
“Ai, finally here, it feels like my buttocks were broken into two.”

The trunk opened with a click and Su Chenyu felt four hands grab her and lift herself up. Thinking about the fact that strange men were touching her, she felt goosebumps rise on her skin. Fortunately, there was a layer of cloth in between or else she would not have been able to bear it, and also the most appropriate thing to do now was pretend to be unconscious.
She was lifted up and carried up what seemed like several stories before they stopped.
“Hey, we brought the target! Open the door!” They knocked strongly on the door.
“Coming…” A husky male’s voice called out. Su Chenyu was surprised at hearing that voice although she had been mentally prepared to hear it. Of course, the reason she was surprised was not because the person was unexpected but because it was….
“Mr. Feng, the person you want is here.” The men pushed her forward violently and the man who Su Chenyu believed is the boss of the group of men spoke, “Since the person you want is here, Mr. Feng, the money….”
“Crazy monkey, go with them to get the money.” The husky voice sounded out again.
“Yes, Young Master~” A frivolous voice sounded, a voice she had never heard before. Who is this? Su Chenyu tried to match this voice to the people beside Feng Xiaoliang. If Wen Jiexi was here, she would recognize this voice as it belonged to a certain bloodthirsty psycho.
Footsteps sounded and the door closed with a creak. She waited for a bit. She could feel some vibrations nearby. Although Su Chenyu was anxious, she is not an impatient person, and so what if she felt uncomfortable? She had felt worse while filming.
Da. Da. Da.
Soft footsteps sounded and Su Chenyu felt someone approach her.
Shua…
The bag opened and someone grabbed her shoulder and ruthlessly pulled her out of the bag.
Su Chenyu frowned slightly but quickly schooled her expression. If she wanted to get information, it was better to keep her eyes closed.
One hand touched Su Chenyu’s cheek, and the greasy touch made Su Chenyu feel disgusted.
“Hehehe, the high and mighty Miss Su is now lying in front of me like a mangy dog.”
The sound of footsteps faded away, and then came back again. Water splashed on her faze and forced her to open her eyes. As soon as she opened her eyes, a dazzling white light greeted her and forced her to squint.
“Aiya, Miss Su finally woke up. It’s rare for us to have a guest come to such a shabby place. Big Brother Liang apologies for this.” Feng Xiaoliang squatted beside Su Chenyu, flashing his white teeth at her.

As a result, his rotten old man abandoned him without hesitation and ordered people to throw him out with no emotion. He became penniless soon after. His cards were frozen and his friends either abandoned him or even fell into disgrace like him.

That look, as if she was looking at a dead man, made Feng Xiaoliang fall back a few steps, but in a blink of an eye, he recovered. How could he easily be frightened by a weak and frail lady?
Thinking it this way, Feng Xiaoliang stepped forward in anger and grabbed her hair, forcing her to look up at him as he yelled,
“Do you really think I’m going to treat you politely just because you are the Miss of the Su family? You’ve landed in my claws, and I’ve long been prepared for this day. Hahaha, and even if I die, there is the eldest miss of the Feng family to accompany me to the afterlife! This sh*t life should’ve been over long ago! Young Master Feng, what a joke! Dog sh*t! If I was born into any other family, I would’ve long become a dragon above all! It’s all because of the Feng family!” Feng Xiaoliang slowly grew more and more mad with each word, laughing and crying at the same time which made him look sad and disgusting.
“You brought this onto yourself. You don’t deserve to live.” Su Chenyu slowly spat out these words.
“What did you say? Heh…ah, I forgot. I didn’t invite you over to talk. Please, enjoy the gift I will give you later.” Feng Xiaoliang licked his bright red lips, a strange smile stretching across his face.
