Shu Yian jumped off of Su Wen’s back. Now that she didn’t have to go back to the company, she didn’t plan on going back with Su Wen. 

“I’m going to go eat first, I’ll send you the address later and you’ll tell Zhou Yu to find me there.” That plate of salad was definitely not enough for Shu Yian so she wanted to find a place to relieve her hunger first.

“En.” Su Wen said tightly. 

She saw that Shu Yian was leaving without even a second glance back at her. So she could only reluctantly call out, “Shu Yian.” 

Shu Yian turned her head: “What?” 

“Remember what you promised, don’t make a fool of yourself in front of others!” 

“Tch!” Shu Yian rolled her eyes at her, “Believe it or not I keep my promises!”

【This person……】

Seeing that the other person just left her like that, Su Wen clenched her fists tightly and really wished she could punch the other. 

This heartless person, she had allowed the other to take her bank card to spend on whatever she wants and yet this person won’t even say a word of thanks? 

Even if technically this was in return for Shu Yian’s services at lunch, at the very least, it’s common courtesy to say goodbye when you leave, right? 

【Tch, I’m just going to ignore her!】

Su Wen felt unhappy in her heart, and after some inner reflection, she understood that the reason must be caused by Shu Yian ignoring her. 

But why was she so upset at that woman ignoring her? 

Must be because that woman was just too rude. 

This was definitely the reason! 

Shu Yian had already disappeared around the corner while she was distracted so Su Wen could only return to her company alone and with a cold face. 

When she didn’t speak with that cold face of hers, there was always an unapproachable aura around her. Now that she was both angry and making a cold face, it made people even more afraid of approaching her. Many of the employees who saw her automatically retreated at least three feet away from her. After she got in the elevator and the doors closed, the employees gathered around to whisper. 

“What is wrong with President Su?” 

“Who knows? I thought that President Su’s usual iceberg face was scary but I never thought that she would be even more scary when she’s angry.” 

“Didn’t President Su go out for lunch with Shu Yian earlier? Why haven’t I seen that woman come back yet?” 

“Ai, Shu Yian, that woman, must have made President Su angry.” 

“To be honest, I’m now doubting that President Su’s attitude towards Shu Yian really has improved. There must be some kind of scheme going on, otherwise I can’t believe our President’s vision is that bad…” 

“Ah, this I know about. President Su’s childhood sweetheart just returned to China and I bet her childhood sweetheart likes her but President Su doesn’t like her back. So I bet she’s pretending to be affectionate with Shu Yian so she could ward off that childhood friend of hers.” 

The five or six people had gathered together in a huddle, one speaking after another. They didn’t realize that behind them, more and more people have gathered together to join in on the exciting gossip. 

A girl wearing glasses was rather skeptical of this news and asked with doubt, “Where did you get this news from?”

One of the girls who spoke raised her eyebrows and said with a smug face, “I have a friend who is close friends with President Su’s childhood sweetheart.” 

“W-what is the name of that childhood sweetheart?” 

“Her name is….” 

“What are you all doing here?

Before the girl could finish, they were scolded by a capable-looking woman who had just walked in the door. The woman was tall and slender, about 175 centimeters tall with long black hair and a pair of gold-rim glasses on her face. 

Her name is Yan Jin and as Su Wen’s most important subordinate, she has the same frightening aura as Su Wen. 

When the others saw her, they quickly dispersed. 

Although lunch break is not over yet, it would raise too many eyebrows if a large group of them huddled together like this. What’s more, this Managing Director was known to be rather harsh. 

They feared Yan Jin even more than Su Wen. 

After all, Su Kiss is the boss, the highest executive of the entire company, and has no time to care about those who were just low-level employees. Even if she needed someone to handle a task for her, it would never be one of them. 

But Yan Jin is not the same. Yan Jin, this crazy woman, cared about every big and small matter of the company. From their work attitudes to the work schedules to reporting to President Su and relaying orders, she was in charge of almost everything.

Zhou Yu stopped by a flower shop during lunch to buy a bouquet of roses. 

And Zhou Yu was very sure that it was Miss Shu who had ordered her to buy these roses. 

Because at noon today, after Miss Shu and President Su came out flirting and teasing each other, Shu Yian had been blushing and was staring at her for a moment.

She then thought about it, Miss Shu shouldn’t have blushed because of her so that blush must be because of President Su. 

Then why did Miss Shu look at her during such a flirtatious situation? 

It must be because she was trying to say something to her but couldn’t because of President Su. 

A young couple in a good relationship. What could a person of such a relationship want from her? 

After much speculation, Zhou Yu was quite sure that Miss Shu had wanted her to buy a surprise gift for President Su.

She was 100% sure of her speculation and that her guess must be completely correct. 

As for what gift to buy, Zhou Yu was not sure at the time.

But fortunately, Miss Shu is a smart person. She had looked at her with such a blushing face, just like a red-colored rose. A flash of enlightenment passed through her mind. Of course, Miss Shu had wanted her to buy some red roses. 

Yes, women love flowers the most and women in relationships love roses the most. 

Zhou Yu returned to the company early with the roses. Although it was still lunch time, it was difficult for her to wander outside with a bouquet of flowers in her hands.

After she just sat down, she saw President Su walking in with a sour face. 

Zhou Yu stretched out her neck to look behind but didn’t see Shu Yian and presume that the two of them were having a little spat again. 

As the self-proclaimed guardian angel of the relationship between these two people, Zhou Yu decided to forgo the surprise part of the giftand directly handed the bouquet of roses to Su Wen with a smile, 

“President Su, this is a gift Miss Shu ordered me to give to you.” 

Shu Yian? 

Su Wen did not speak and took the roses with a face full of suspicion, but the corners of her mouth tilted upwards. 

This woman still wants to play romance with me? 

However, it was only for a moment before her face became stern again. 

This woman, how could she be such an attentive person, what kind of trick is she playing now? 

At this moment, Shu Yian just happened to send her a text with an address for a restaurant. 

Su Wen uncomfortably held the flowers, rubbed her nose and then sent back a reply, “Why did you give me roses?”

“Are you sure that it was Shu Yian who asked you to buy these roses?” 

Zhou Yu trembled: “I-I am sure….” 

What is going on? Obviously President Su had been so happy just now yet her face changed faster than the sky. 

Zhou Yu then watched with much distress in her heart as Su Wen ruthlessly threw the roses into the trash can next to her desk. She didn’t dare to say anything. Ah, such beautiful flowers, what a waste! President Su really is too violent!

How could Su Wen not be violent? She had thought that these flowers were for herself, but in the end she learned they were not for her. That meant they could only be for someone else.  How could she not be angry?

Hah, this woman wants to give flowers to someone else? Dream on! 

She just won’t let Shu Yian get her way. That woman only knows how to fool around with other women all day!

Then with a calm expression, Su Wen sent the address to Zhou Yu: “Go find her!” 

Zhou Yu earnestly received her orders in fear that Su Wen would lose her temper at her: “Yes, Boss!” 

“Also….” Su Wen was just about to enter her office when she turned around and asked her, “Are you sure that Shu Yian really said those flowers are for me?” 

Zhou Yu scratched the back of her head: “Yes, they are for you…” 

Su Wen: “….” 

“But she didn’t say that just now!” 

“That’s because Miss Shu was too embarrassed to directly confess her love and wanted to surprise you!”

Tch. Su Wen rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue. 

That woman likes anyone who is good-looking, but that little “like” is only enough for three minutes. Perhaps when the two of them were interacting earlier, Shu Yian had accidentally fallen in love with her again and….wanted to show her love in this way? 

If that is so….then when her legs went soft today, it was not because she liked Yan Ruxue but because Shu Yian wanted her to carry her on her back? 

But that doesn’t make sense, Shu Yian had obviously treated her rudely and didn’t seem to want to show any love at all. 

Su Wen picked up the roses from the trash can and looked at them again, before entering the office with complicated thoughts. 

What does she mean by all this? Does she like me or not?
