“Um…Vice President Mu, my room is very messy, so you don’t have to…” Although she had vented some of her anxiety on the punching bag from earlier, Gu Anran was still quite nervous to let her wife see the current state of her room. She hesitated as her hand twitches while holding the door handle.

“I-I’ll go in first.” Gu Anran had slightly opened the door and wanted to slip inside but Mu QIngli directly stepped forward and pulled open the door.
In that instate, the state of affairs of her room was exposed and Gu Anran didn’t even have enough time to cover her face in shame…..it’s over! All over! In this lifetime I won’t have enough face to chase after my wife!
The blankets were messed up on the bed, some were even lying on the floor. There were snacks still lying on the table, opened bags and unscrewed jars. The garbage was filled to the brim with empty bread bags and empty instant noodle cups. The clothes were scattered everywhere, and there were even some inner clothing confidently handing off the couch. And it was bright red lingerie….it couldn’t be more conspicuous….
Mu Qingli swept her gaze around the room, feeling a bit distressed. Has Little Ran been living in such a bad environment this entire time? “Uncle Chen, come over and help….” Mu Qingli stopped and Gu Anran followed her gaze. Mu Qingli’s line of sight was focused on that….AHHHHHH! That piece of underwear! I feel so ashamed!

“This…that….Vice President Mu…I can do this by myself.” Gu Anran glanced at the person beside her who looked so out of her element and then bent down to pick up her clothes, quickly picking them up and throwing into a pile.
If Hong Qingyi was here, she probably would be jumping up and down in anger. When she told Gu Anran to clean her room, Gu Anran would ignore her. She always said that Gu Anran would drown under her pile of clothing and garbage and yet now she was diligently cleaning it up.
Half an hour later, all the clothes were packed up in a box.
“Little Ran, you forgot his one.”
A hand stretched out, the red underwear lying on top of the fair palm. It was the one handing on the sofa.
“Thanks…..” Gu Anran smiled dryly and threw the underwear into the bottom of her box! I will never wear this one again! Too shameful!
As they continued to clean up the debris and garbage, the room slowly returned to its original state. Then Muy Qingli called the housekeeper to come in and put the luggage in the trunk and throw away the garbage bags. Then she accompanied Gu Anran to find the landlord.
By the time they had finished discussing the rent with the landlord, it was close to twelve.
“Miss where would you like to go?” The man in the front turned around in the driver’s seat and asked.
Mu Qingli thought about it and then looked over at Gu Anran who was clutching her bag. “…the usual place.”
“Understood.”
The car drove smoothly and the atmosphere in the car was quiet. When they arrived at their destination, it was at a high-end Western restaurant. The type that was very expensive and very fancy.
Looking down at the menu…..awkward….the price….it so scary that a person can’t even decide!
“No need to be polite with me and choose whatever you want to eat.” Mu Qingli had already decided what she wanted the moment they sat down and was waiting on Gu Anran.
“Um…this one then.” Gu Anran didn’t know what to eat. All of the dishes looked too delicious and so she randomly pointed at a picture of a steak.
Mu Qingli looked at her choice, it was the cheapest dish in the restaurant. She couldn’t help but sigh. This little fellow is just too afraid to spend so much money on herself. (This is what happens when people are in love and they have too much imagination←←) She must eat a lot of junk food and probably lacks a lot of nutrients. I have to make up for that lack of nutrients starting now.
“Little Ran, how about you order the same thing as me?”
“Um…ok.” Gu Anran nodded. She really didn’t have much of an opinion.
“I want the fruit salad with mango yogurt, pesto bread, a sirloin steak, creamy mushroom soup, roasted garlic chicken and for dessert, a white chocolate-cream pudding. Make sure you make two sets of this order.”
Gu Anran stared blankly at the woman in front of her. Did she say all that in one breath? And is it okay to order so much?
“What’s wrong?” Mu Qingli handed the waiter her many and tilted her head when she noticed Gu Anran staring at her.
“Nothing…just…you ordered so much. Can we finish it all?” For Gu Anran she can definitely eat it all by herself, but can Mu Qingli? And how much did all this cost! She had ordered so much, it must cost at least a few thousand!
Guessing Gu Anran’s thoughts, Mu Qingli said lightly,
“This restaurant is one managed by the Mu Family, so you don’t have to worry about the cost.” And I can afford to spoil you. But of course, she didn’t say that allowed.
The restaurant served up the food quickly and neatly arranged it in an efficient order. After eating, someone would immediately clean up the plates and they would even give detailed information on the food. This was not because of Mu Qingli’s presence but the quality of the staff. Each waiter had a soft and polite smile on their face, no matter who they talked to.
Although the price was on the higher end, many people were willing to come here because of the outstanding service!
Faced with a delicious meal, both kept to themselves as they ate. Plus, with the interactions between the two so far, they had not reached the point where they were familiar enough to discuss intimate topics with each other.
After filling up their stomachs, the two drove into a gated community. Throughout the window, Gu Anran could see multiple two or three stories villas and the car stopped at the largest three-storied villa in the center of the community.
“Let’s go.” Mu Qingli pushed open the door.
“Oh, ok!” Gu Anran jumped out of the car and looked up at the residence in front of her. The environment and air around it were refreshing. They crossed through a large courtyard with flowers and plants and a lounger used for sunbathing was placed next to a small pond. The water was clear and one could see many fish swimming in it.
“Let’s go in first. The housekeeper will take your luggage to your room.” Mu Qingli presed her finger against the sensor and it made a scanning noise. With a ‘beep’ the door opened. With such convenient technology, the chance of robbers breaking in was low. There were also five fierce-looking security guards standing outside with several growling dogs next to them. So even the chance of a robber even making it out alive was low.
As they entered, Mu Qingli shook off her shoes and took out two pairs of indoor slippers from the shoe cabinet, giving Gu Anran a pair.
“Wear these.”
“O-ok….” Can someone tell her why she was given Mickey Mouse slippers and her wife’s slippers are…Minnie Mouse! Ah, a couple’s shoes! I suddenly feel so shy~
Putting on the slippers, they walked into the living room. The living room was quite spacious making one feel that there was only a living room and kitchen on the first floor. However, although the space was large, the layout made one feel comfortable and not lonely.
“Would you like some juice?” Mu Qingli took out two glasses and a bottle of orange juice from the kitchen,
“En! Thank you.” Gu Anran nodded and sat on the sofa in the middle of the room.
“Meow~” A silky white cat slipped out from the corner and turned it’s light blue eyes to look lazily at Gu Anran. Then It walked over in an elegant manner and jumped onto Mu Qingli’s lap.
“Little Ran, meet my cat. Her name is Milk.” Mu Qingli slowly stroked the cat…no, Milk’s back. Milk Narrowed her eyes in content and seemed to enjoy the petting very much.
Milk? It’s a very appropriate name! The entire body is covered in white fur, there wasn’t a single different-colored hair. It seems like a purebred.
“Hello there, Milk. Nice to meet you.” Gu Anran bent down and smiled.
“Meow…” Milk gave a perfunctory meow, lifting her head up for a second, then lying back down to enjoy the petting.

The door opened and the housekeeper came in with Gu Anran’s luggage, but behind him were also two familiar figures.

“Are you a child?” Mu Qingli picked up Milk and placed her down on the couch. Standing up, she felt helpless in the face of this friend of hers.”

“Just some juice, thank you.” After saying this, Hong Qingyi sat down next to Gu Anran. With how familiar she was acting, this was probably not the first time she was visiting.
“Alright. Oh, Uncle Chen, can you put the luggage in the room next to mine.” Mu Qingli whispered that last part to her housekeeper.
“Hehe~ Qingli, not bad, not bad~~ You got what you wanted~~ And so quickly too~” Chi Mengyan elbowed her and whispered softly.
“What do you mean by that? Don’t phrase it so weirdly!”
Watching the two enter the kitchen, Gu Anran turned back around and whispered to Hong Qingyi,
“You….why do you look so tired? Wait…but it’s only been a few days, how are you this horny already!”
“Go fu*k yourself.” Hong Qingyi snapped back.
“Ok, then explain how you have such dark circles underneath your eyes? Don’t tell me it’s because of work, because I know it’s not that.” Gu Anran observed her friend’s face and there were very obvious dark circles underneath her eyes.
“You don’t understand….I have been working hard these days….” Hong Qingyi sighed and leaned back.
“Then tell me and I’ll listen. Wait, were you bullied?”
