“Huu….Huang-jie, I’m finished.” Gu Anran wiped the sweat on her face with a trace of excitement in her eyes. Tomorrow is the day where they turn their homework in, and the day of their test. Except for the first set which she ruined, she had successfully assembled four mechas and the one in front of her was the fifth mecha which she had just finished assembling. 

Hong Qingyi had failed twice but afterward, she was met with success. 

“You two are quite talented! I bet that you’re the only freshmen in your year, no….I remember that the best record for a freshman was six successfully assembled mechas, and I bet both of you will be able to surpass that record easily!” Huang Linfan handed some towels and water to the two of them.

Gu Anran looked at Huang Linfan who looked back at them with appreciation and approval for the two of them. She felt quite happy to have such a good senior helping her, no…such a good future sister-in-law. That thought made her even happier. 

If Huang Linfan had shown jealousy and bitterness as their success, then Gu Anran and Hong Qingyi would have to be more careful with her in the future. As someone of the royal family, how could she let such a small-minded person stay next to them? Won’t that be just asking for trouble? However, she didn’t have to worry as Huang Linfan proved to be a good person. 

“Thank you.” Gu Anran accepted the towel and wiped the droplets of sweat on her head. Thus, manipulating mental power was much more exhausting than simply running around.

Mu Qingli and Chi Mengyan were taken away by her older brother and sister, so they haven’t seen them since. Most of the food was prepared by Huang Linfan and there were no longer mountain-like amounts of food prepared, which they were unused to. 

Gu Anran slowly took a sip of her milk as she chewed her food, 

“Huang-jie, how are Qingli and Mengyan?” 

“Yeah, yeah, how are they?” Hong Qingyi added. 

“Aiya~ You two always ask after them at least once a day. It seems that my Anran and Qingyi are very fond of those two alphas~” Huang Linfan raised her eyebrows and laughed at the two children she had grown up with since childhood. At the same time, she also sighed wistfully in her heart. The children have grown up in a blink of an eye! They are now at an age where they can fall in love. 

“Cough…..Huang-jie, can’t you just tell us?” Gu Anran felt embarrassed under Huang Linfan’s teasing gaze and coughed dryly twice. 

“Didn’t I say that you’ll see them tomorrow? Why are you so anxious for? It’s not like you’ll never see them again.” Huang Linfan smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

It was the same answer again….Gu Anran pouted. 

“Alright, stop sulking! Hurry up and assemble the remaining parts! Tomorrow is an important day!” Huang Linfan looked at the two people who were pouting with bulging cheeks and pinched both of them. Hahaha, the two of them deserve to be called childhood friends, their expressions are the exact same! 

“En….” Gu Anran ate one last bite of her food and drank the rest of her milk before she stood up again to stand in front of her mecha parts. 

In addition to being able to assemble all the parts in one go, one must pay attention to the time it takes to assemble everything. The shorter it takes, the more accurate your control is. Of course, the more you practice, the more the time can be shortened. Both Gu Anran and Hong Qingyi can now successfully assemble a mecha together. She will definitely defeat everyone here, no one can take her Anran, and Anran can only be hers.

She can not let the other party feel worried! So she smiled confidently at Anran and signaled with her eyes to tell that other party that she needn’t worry. 

Gu Anran clenched her fists and lowered her head. Her mind was blinded with images of Mu Qingli’s smile just now. She almost couldn’t hide the smile threatening to break out on her face and her initial nervousness seemed to have disappeared.

Gu Anran never expected that this matter would be announced publicly. If she knew that this would happen beforehand, she would definitely not have tried to assemble so many mechas because the moment the headmaster finished speaking, countless gazes landed on Gu Anran.
